This special adaptor is required if you want to plug your Portable Appliance Tester INTO a 110V supply.

All mains powered PAT testers come with a 230V plug, which is normally plugged into a 230V supply socket. However, if you are testing lots of 110V appliances, it makes more sense for the PAT Tester itself to run on a 110V supply. Let's face it, if you're on a construction site, you probably won't be able to find any 230V mains! This adaptor lead will allow you to plug a PAT Tester into a 110V supply.
