A very clever product from those boffins at Kewtech. We wish we'd thought of this one ourselves!

If you're an electrician you've probably wondered whether you could use your 17th edition tester for carry out Appliance Tests. Well, now you can!

Plug the PAT Adaptor into your 17th edition tester (any with 4mm connections will do, including Megger, Fluke etc) and plug your appliance into the PAT Adaptor.

Detailed instructions are included which show how to carry out Earth Continuity tests and Insulation tests on appliances.

If you already have an Insulation Tester and a Continuity Tester (or a Multifunction Tester) this will save you a lot of cash! If you are doing a lot of PAT testing you will need a dedicated machine. But for carry out the occasional PAT tester using your existing kit - this is just the job!

• Earth Bond – using a continuity tester - this can be used for all appliances (including IT)
• Insulation at 500V or 250V using an Insulation Tester
• Class2:
• Insulation at 500V or 250V using an Insulation Tester
• Tests extension leads (in conjunction with the Kewtech R2)
• The new Code of Practice allows for 250V insulation tests. This can be a replacement for leakage tests in most cases
