What is a safety RCD Adaptor?

Your safety RCD Adaptor continuously monitors the power supply to an electrical appliance and cuts off the power within 30 milliseconds if an earth current fault is detected. RCD's will not stop you getting an electric shock, but will cut off the power immediately if you do! RCD's save lives.

Where should you use a safety RCD Adaptor.

• Appliances that might cut or drill thought their own cable: Hedge cutters, lawn mowers, jig and circular saws, etc.
• Appliances that might come into contat with moisture or water: Lawn mowers, pressure washers, water pumps, etc.
• Appliances that are vulnerable to the entry of fingers, hair and foreign bodies: Toasters, fan heaters, electric fires, hair driers, etc
• Appliances that are left on overnight: Refridgerators, freezers, TV's, videos, computers, etc.
• Appliances that can be interfered with by children: Christmas tree lights, train sets, etc
